FAQ
Questions shop owners ask us
What if the internet goes down?
Today EasyModePOS runs online, so the till needs a connection; a phone hotspot is enough to keep selling. Offline mode is in development: sales will keep being recorded on the till and sync automatically once the connection is back.
Can I use my own printer?
Often, yes. Send us the make and model of your receipt printer, cash drawer or barcode scanner and we will confirm whether it is compatible before you buy anything.
How much does it cost?
Each package has a once-off price and a monthly fee. The monthly fee is free for the first year, then starts from Rs 500/month, billed yearly. The Packages page lists every package with its limits.
Can I manage several shops?
Yes. Multi-shop packages let you follow sales and stock for each location in real time and transfer stock between shops and warehouses. If you have more stores than our listed packages cover, call us and we will build one for you.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. EasyModePOS is mobile-friendly, so you can check sales, stock and reports from your smartphone. An Android app is also on the way.
Do you help with setup and training?
Yes. We set up your account, help you load your products and train you and your staff before you go live.
How can my customers pay?
You can record sales paid by cash, MCB Juice, credit card or bank cheque, and sell on credit to customers you trust. Credit sales are followed in Receivables until they are paid.
Can I bring in my existing products?
Yes. You can import your products and your opening stock from a spreadsheet, using the sample sheet provided, instead of typing them one by one.
